All terminals at the Port of Oakland have been inaccessible due to AB5 protesters blocking the entrances since Monday, 7/18/22. As a result, truckers have been unable to pull or return any containers all week. Some sources indicate the terminals will remain closed through 7/22/22 and the closure may continue into the week of 7/25/22. Please reach out to the Steamship Line and/or Terminal to request extensions on import LFD’s and free time on empty returns. International Freight Services, Inc will not be responsible for any charges accrued as a result of the closure. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated on status as much as possible.

Please keep in mind, once the Port is open, there will be enormous congestion, so please expect long wait times and extended timelines on securing appointments to in-gate and out-gate.
